Orbis Tech, has signaled its continued growth trajectory with the launch of its new global headquarters.

In formally opening the office and development space in central Southampton, Orbis Tech CEO, Jorundur Jorundsson, says Orbis Tech’s open platform approach with Orbis POS, BOS and HOS is successfully disrupting the established site-system market and forcing its global expansion.

“We are scaling our proven open-platform solution to give retail operators real choice outside of major brands that have traditionally had a stronghold on the market,” he says.

“This is particularly true in the fuel retail space where we are expanding into EMEA, APAC, North America and LASA countries.  Our partnership with Invenco has already helped us to secure significant site systems contracts in markets as diverse as Singapore, New Zealand and Peru and continues to add to the high-profile, referenceable sites Orbis Tech now supports.”

According to Jorundsson, Orbis Tech’s growth is translating into not only a larger global head office in the UK but the need for more staff and expansion of its support and development centre in Malaysia.

He says this is enabling Orbis Tech to fast-track its global plans while continuing to grow its Orbis range of products and services. “Our new headquarters is centrally located, close to transport hubs, to assist in talent attraction and provides the much-needed space to expand our research and development team”.

In Southampton for the head office opening, Invenco Chief Business Development Officer, Craig Panter, says Orbis Tech is continuing to deliver exponentially greater value to the customers it embraces.

“Orbis Tech offers an open platform, end-to-end, hardware and software solution that delivers exceptional return on investment and can be readily configured for mixed business models,” he says. “This is going to become increasingly attractive as fuel, retail and hospitality continues to converge – with customers and business owners alike looking for a seamless, effortless, experience. This well-timed investment in infrastructure sets the scene for even greater growth in 2018.”
